Wyylde, in its fight against content theft and misuse of the image of others, wishes to remind the criminal penalties incurred by anyone publishing or broadcasting content that does not belong to him.
Article 226-1 of the Penal Code punishes with one year of imprisonment and 45 000 € fine the fact of infringing the privacy of others by fixing, recording or transmitting, without the consent of the latter, the image of a person in a private place. However, when the capture of the image of a person has been accomplished in full view of the person concerned without his or her objection, even though he or she was in a position to do so, his or her consent is presumed. In addition, article 226-8 of the penal code punishes with one year of imprisonment and a fine of 15 000 € the fact of publishing, by any means, the montage made with the image of a person without his consent, if it does not appear obviously that it is a montage or if it is not expressly mentioned.
Also in this fight and for your security, you should know that we keep a list of each connection for a minimum of one year.
