Change my username

Wyylde offers you the possibility to change your username over time and according to your wishes. The username change feature is now available on the website.

• How do I change my username?

This new feature is available in your account settings, under the general section.

Once your username is changed, your old username will appear on your profile. It will not be possible to search by old username. For that, the new username must be the one used for searches. 

Your followers will be automatically informed of this change by a notification and a post on the news feed. 

• Can I change it infinitely?

There is a time limit between two username changes: 90 days. We therefore advise you to choose carefully, as no immediate change or reversal can be made afterwards. 

Your old username is kept for 120 days if you wish to revert. Recovering your old username will be possible, but the 90-day waiting period will also apply.  

• How to recognise a changed username?

All old usernames remain listed on members' profiles. This allows you to easily identify which member you may be interacting with. 

To do this, you must: 

• Go to the member's profile 
• Click on More options (the three small dots)
• Select Show old usernames
