Wyylde definitively switches to its new version

From 30 June, Wyylde will fully switch to its new version.

This means that the old version will no longer be available and it will no longer be possible to revert to it.

This choice allows us to focus our efforts on a single platform, more modern, smoother, and designed to continue evolving in the coming months.

We know that a change of interface can require some time to adapt, especially when you were used to the old version. But this transition is an important step to continue improving the Wyylde experience and to offer new features to the community.

What is changing?

The changes mainly concern Wyylde’s appearance, navigation, and available features.

The new version offers a more up-to-date interface, more pleasant to use and better suited to today’s usage, especially on mobile. It also allows us to more easily add new features, improve the experience over time, and build the future of Wyylde on a stronger technical foundation.

However, this change does not reset your account.

Your profile, your exchanges, your photos, your preferences, your subscription, and your history remain well preserved. You will find your account and your community as before, in a new environment.

Why not keep the old version?

Maintaining two versions in parallel limits the possibilities for development and makes improvements more complex.

By definitively switching to a single version, we can focus our efforts on a unique platform: more stable, more coherent, and easier to develop.

The old version will therefore no longer be maintained and will not be available after 30 June.

What are the benefits of the new version?

This new version has been designed to make the experience smoother, livelier, and easier to develop.

It notably allows you to enjoy several new features and improvements, such as:

• a more modern and clearer interface;
• smoother navigation, especially on mobile;
• infinite scroll, to browse members’ content more naturally;
• a redesign of Lives, with a more current experience;
• reactions and comment replies, to facilitate interactions;
• a better technical foundation to support future developments.

And this is just the beginning: more new features will arrive in the coming weeks and months.

Will it be possible to go back to the old version?

No. From 30 June, the switch to the new version will be final.

We understand that some landmarks may change and that it sometimes takes a little time to get used to new habits. But this new version is now the foundation on which Wyylde will continue to evolve.
