GDPR & Data Retention

Wyylde complies with the new GDPR regulations implemented by the European Parliament to respect users' data and confidentiality on the Internet.

In accordance with these, user data is permanently deleted from our servers after a period of 18 months, starting from the date the account is deleted by the user (Article - How to delete my account).

This period complies with the data retention durations established by the CNIL, the French Data Protection Authority, as well as Decree No. 2011-219 of 25 February 2011 relating to the retention and communication of data allowing the identification of any person who contributed to the creation of content published online, and also enables the provision of all information requested by authorities in the event of a judicial requisition.

The Wyylde site monitors the evolution of legislation on data retention and protection, at both national and European levels, in order to remain compliant.
