Moderation Policy 04 September 2026 16:20 Updated How do we moderate Wyylde?Content or behaviour that does not comply with our rules can reach us in two ways: someone reports it, or our team spots it themselves by actively monitoring the platform. In both cases, the process is the same — and content is never removed automatically without a human having reviewed it.The 4-step process:1. Content is brought to our attentionEvery profile, message, comment, photo, video, live stream, group, and event has a reporting button. You can report at any time, without needing to justify your identity or having previously tried to contact the person concerned. At the same time, our team actively monitors the platform (regular checks, live stream monitoring) and technological tools help us detect the most serious content more quickly — but these tools only alert us: they never delete anything on their own, nor suspend an account.2. A team member reviews itBefore any decision, a member of our moderation team looks at the reported content, the indicated reason, and the context. No content is removed automatically based solely on a report or a technical alert.3. A proportionate decision is madeDepending on the severity, the decision may be: no action (if the content complies with our rules or has already been addressed), a warning, a temporary account suspension, or a permanent suspension. When content is removed, the corresponding sanction is applied simultaneously — these are not two separate procedures. The most serious content (violence, content involving minors, acts of zoophilia) always results in immediate and permanent suspension.4. You are informed and can appealIf a decision concerns you, you are informed directly on your account. If you disagree, you have a way to challenge this decision — a process separate from reporting content that is not yours.A word about timelines: the vast majority of content reports are processed within a few hours. The detailed figures, updated regularly, are published in our transparency report. Our moderation team works continuously and in several languages, so that a report is handled with the same care regardless of your country.→ To report something now: see Report a profile or content→ To know what is allowed or not: see What is prohibited on Wyylde How do we verify that you are an adult?Wyylde is reserved for adults. No explicit content is visible on a page accessible without an account, and access to this content is subject to real age verification — not just ticking a box.Access is built in 3 steps, each adding a real restriction:Step 1 — Create an accountYou provide your information and declare that you are an adult. At this stage, no explicit content is visible: photos and videos remain blurred, only profiles and event posters are visible as thumbnails.Step 2 — A subscriptionAccess to messages, events, live streams, and videos requires a subscription. This subscription alone still does not unlock explicit content (photos, videos, live streams): these remain blurred.Step 3 — Independent age verificationUnlocking explicit content requires real age verification, carried out by an independent and specialised provider (Jumio), compliant with the technical framework published by Arcom. Concretely: you submit an identity document and a biometric capture of your face; the provider verifies the authenticity of the document, the match with your face, and the absence of fraud. If this automatic verification fails, a manual verification takes over. What we do not do: we do not have access to the data used to verify your age — only the verification result is transmitted to us. The data submitted for verification is kept for a maximum of 30 days, then deleted. The system does not produce reusable proof of age elsewhere (principle of double anonymity), and we are gradually evolving our verification system towards solutions that are even more protective of your privacy.Result: no pornographic or explicit content is accessible from a page reachable without an account, and access to such content is always subject to this independent age verification. How to Report a Profile or Content? You can report at any time, without prior registration to a specific procedure, and without needing to prove anything beyond a reason. What you can report: A member, from their profile page or from an ongoing conversationA photo, a video, or a live streamA post or a commentA groupAn eventAny other situation, via our general assistance windowHow it works:You choose a reason from a simple list (violence or harassment, illegal content, identity theft or violation of your image, advertising or spam, scam…) and you can add a free description. You receive immediate confirmation that your report has been received. What we guarantee:— A systematic human review before any decision (see How we moderate)— No information about your identity is communicated to the person you report— No information about the author of reported content is communicated to you, except by court order→ Discover the full process of a report: see How we moderate→ Understand what is allowed or not: see What is prohibited on Wyylde Meeting safelyYou are never obliged to meet someone physically. If you decide to do so, a few simple precautions are enough to reduce risks. Our recommendations:— Prefer a first meeting in a public and busy place (café, bar, restaurant)— Inform a close person: where you are going, with whom, and what time you expect to return— Take time to exchange via Wyylde messaging before sharing personal contact details— You are never obliged to continue an exchange that makes you uncomfortable, at any stage— Trust your feelings: if something seems wrong, you can end the exchange and, if necessary, report the person (see Report a profile or content)Wyylde provides you with tools to communicate and verify a profile before meeting someone, but cannot guarantee the identity or intentions of another member — these recommendations exist to help you stay safe in all circumstances.→ Our values of respect and consent: see Consent and well-being CONSENT AND WELL-BEING"Consent, at the heart of Wyylde"Consent is not a box to tick at Wyylde: it is the principle around which the entire platform is built. Our values — freedom, respect, responsibility — are concretely reflected in how we protect your interactions, your content, and your data.Consent on three levels:1- Consent regarding your dataWhen creating your account, you explicitly consent to the processing of data necessary for the service to function — including sensitive data related to the nature of Wyylde. Age verification requires a separate consent, specific to the transmission of an identity document and a biometric capture (see Age verification). You can contact our Data Protection Officer at any time for any questions about your data. → see Privacy & data2- Consent regarding your image and contentIf you discover your image used by another member without your agreement, it is treated as a violation of your image rights — a separate category, distinct from identity theft. The content is removed and progressive sanctions apply to the offending member, up to permanent suspension in case of repeat offences. The distribution of intimate images without consent ("revenge porn") results in immediate permanent suspension from the first report, without an intermediate step.3- Consent during live exchangesOn live streams, we pay particular attention to situations where a person filmed with the broadcaster does not seem aware of being filmed or does not consent. In doubt, a warning is sent as a priority; the broadcast is only interrupted if no reaction, oral or written, occurs within the following minutes — to give everyone the chance to clarify the situation without penalising a false alert. Our Charter, your compassThe 4 exploration rules of the Wyylde Charter — respecting everyone’s boundaries, travelling without prejudice, following your own compass, contributing to the community — summarise the spirit guiding all these protections. Need to talk?If an exchange on Wyylde makes you uncomfortable, you can always report the situation (see Report a profile or content) or write to us directly via our support. Our cooperation with authoritiesSome situations go beyond moderation and involve the real safety of a person. In these cases, we act quickly and cooperate directly with the competent authorities. Our principleContent or behaviour that seriously endangers a person — physical violence, endangerment, serious threat, pedophilia, zoophilia — triggers a priority and immediate process: immediate suspension of the account concerned, and reporting to the competent authorities when justified by the facts. How do we report? In France, reportable offences are transmitted via the official Pharos platform. Outside France, we address the competent authority of the country concerned; when this cannot be determined, we contact Europol or Pharos. In cases where a victim has already filed a complaint, the account concerned is suspended immediately and permanently, and the necessary information is transmitted to allow police services to carry out a requisition. Our official contact pointsIn accordance with the European Digital Services Act, Wyylde provides direct contact points:— For authorities of Member States, the European Commission, judicial authorities, and for any person: team@wyylde.com— For any questions regarding your personal data: dpo@wyylde.com (our Data Protection Officer)— For press enquiries: presse@wyylde.comThese contact points are handled by people, in several languages, for each national version of Wyylde available in the European Union.
